Huntover is renowned for its level of commitment to developing the connection between horse and rider.

People

Mark Bone: Trainer A Midwest native and “R” judge, Mark Bone began his riding career in Germany. After graduating from the junior ranks, a desire to turn professional and further his riding skills led him to a position working for dressage trainer Elizabeth Madlander in Virginia. Later, Mark went on to work with notable hunter/jumper trainers including Mike Henaghan, Katie Prudent and Micaela Kennedy. In 1996, Mark relocated Huntover to California. Under his tutelage, junior and amateur riders have achieved numerous division championships and year-end awards at all levels. The list of hunters, jumpers and ponies he has guided along is vast and includes Bremen, Incentive, Elan’s 2+2, Splash, Simply Magical, Daphne Doo, Lucky Too, Teddy Ruxpin, Tuscany, Crystal Blue, Roxanna, Round Midnight, Kyle, Bolero, Amaro, Kiss Me Not, Kings Peak, Zaretina, Queen Latiffa, Dolce and Cipriani. Over the years, Mark has enjoyed seeing Huntover thrive as an elite boutique-style show stable. He thrives on being able to help his students reach their individual goals and particularly enjoys watching the kids move through the ranks.
Korie Sullada: Assistant Trainer/Barn Manager Korie is a Thousand Oaks native. She began her riding career at the age of seven, learning natural horsemanship and transitioned to the hunter/jumper world. As a junior, she rode with Edelweiss Farms. Under the guidance of trainer Sterling Ferguson, she had much success in the jumper ring, taking home year end awards. Korie was then invited to work along side Olympic trainers John and Beezie Madden at John Madden Sales in Cazenovia, NY. There, she groomed and rode top Grand Prix show horses and trained their young horses. From there she moved to Katonah, NY to work for trainers Andre Dignelli and Patricia Griffith at Heritage Farm. She was first hired as a pony rider and was quickly promoted to a barn manager for her keen attention to detail, organization skills, and vast knowledge in horse care. Korie came home to California in 2014 and wanted a facility that not only excelled at care of their equine athletes but also provided extraordinary training for the show ring as well. She of course went straight to Mark Bone and Huntover. Her upbeat spirit and unmatched ability to quote movies, makes her an asset to all barn environments.
